U12's Tournament Information in Beaverton 1/27/19
Good day,
Below is a lot of information for our
12U tournament to be held at The Courts in Beaverton on Sunday Jan 27.
The Courts in Beaverton: 14523 SW Millikan Way Beaverton, OR 97005
Doors will open at 7:15, Coaches meeting at 7:30, Play will begin at 8:00 am
2nd round gets an extra 5 minutes of warmup time, so 7-4-4, then after that it is 2-4-4 for warm up time
Make sure you bring a roster printed that week, with the date printed on it. Also, you need whistles for both your up and down official. We have some for sale at The Courts.
We have 15 teams competing. I have divided the teams into two different pool formats,
The top 2 pools (A and B) are Power Pools and the lower 3 pools (1, 2 and 3) are Competition Pools.
Each pool will play a traditional 3 team pool format with all matches being 2/3 sets.
The power pools will then play a 6 team bracket, with all teams guaranteed 2 matches.
The Competitive pools will reshuffle and play another round of Pool play against different opponents.
Attached is the general information sheet about our facility, a parking map and the pools.
The Cafe will be open. Any food purchased at the cafe must be eaten in the cafe area or on the cemented area. Coffee and other sports drinks are NOT allowed in the bleachers. NO FOOD IS ALLOWED ON THE WOOD FLOORS. Outside coffee is not allowed in the morning, we offer espresso drinks at the cafe.
The cafe has snacks, fruit, salads, sandwiches, smoothies etc. Good food!
Outside food is not allowed anywhere in the facility. Food must be eaten outside.
There is an admission charge for spectators.
Please honor our parking diagram. We do not control the parking lots in the area, so we can only park in our areas, or the free areas. Do not park anywhere there is a no parking sign.
Court 1 (far court on the left as you enter) will be the hang out court for all teams.
Please remind your coaches to bring a newly printed roster and 2 whistles for the day. We will have whistles for sale at the tournament desk if you need one.

Our uniform’s and team back packs are here! You will receive them at your next scheduled practice from your coach.
Please follow the care instructions listed below when washing your jersey’s
1. Turn inside out
2. No bleach or bleach products
3. Cold Water/Normal wash
4. Do not dry
5. Hang flat to dry
6. Do not iron
The jackets and sponsor sweatshirts will hopefully be arriving next week. An on-line team store will also made available soon so parents and fans of EOVBC can purchase gear.

Just a friendly reminder that you have until the 20th of January to finish your referee/scoring test.. If you don’t have it completed, by the 20th a fee will be assessed to you for being out of compliance with club policy.
The majority of our athletes have already completed this task.

Just a reminder that all EOVBC athletes must complete the referee and scoring training. Do not put these tests off. They are time consuming and can be difficult.
Please get started on the process. Congratulations to some athletes who have already completed the tests.
